"I'm beginning to make some progress with some of the students here. I had my
first english class with some of the friends I made, and afterward we got on
the subject of God. God was all in it. This conversation showed me how
responsive and curious the students are to the gospel. It was such an
encouragement!" Logan Crouch, Venezuela
"The first week of campers was definitely a challenge. I had 3 girls in my cabin
come to accept Christ this week, one of which I was able to counsel and pray
with personally. Getting through my first time of counseling a camper was a
major answer to prayer. God gave me the words to say and the ability to answer
many questions." Lisa Maiorana, GA/Acteen Camps, Florida
Jesus commanded us to "Go and make disciples" so that is what we do! Each
summer (and during spring break) we send out college students all over the
world to share God's love. These life-changing experiences teach students about
the power of prayer, the need for flexibility and God's overwhelming
faithfulness in any situation. Belgium, Venezula, Nicaragua, East Asia,
Australia, Louisiana, California, Arizona, Kansas, Kentucky, Florida, are just
a few of the places where students have gone.
Students can also participate in several community missions' projects during
the year. Past projects have included a Valentine party for residents of a
retirement home, painting a shelter for victims of domestic violence,
Thanksgiving baskets for needy families, and a Christmas party for foster
children.
